Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results

Hi, I’m Kerry
I’m passionate about helping people become the best versions of themselves. Having been on a self-discovery and reflective journey for many years, I love each new day and the possibilities that it brings. I am also a wife, and mum to two wonderful teenage daughters and numerous pets!
My background is in practical philosophy, having studied with The School of Philosophy and Economic Science for many years. I also studied The Art of Meditation and was initiated into the School of Meditation in Sheffield.
I’m a Certified Coach through Spacious Coaching, using the BRIGHT framework model. I also completed their Coaching Mastery programme.
I qualified as a Mental Health First Aider through MHFA England in 2022. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognized training course, designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. In the same way as learning physical first aid, MHFA teaches people how to recognize those crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide someone to appropriate support. I also achieved Certification in Self-harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention.
Having attended a UK Masterclass in Trauma-Aware Coaching, and a UK event in Coaching Grief and Loss; has enabled me to add an important dimension to my coaching sessions, and has already greatly benefitted clients.
More recently I became a licensed Mother-Daughter Coach, through Mother-Daughter Coaching International. Please see my Mother-Daughter Coaching page for further information. I am so excited to be able to deliver this specialized coaching; it truly is a game changer for mothers and daughters.
So, a little bit about me personally. I truly believe it’ so important to understand what our values are. Our values, or fundamental beliefs, inform us of who we really are, and they are important because they help us to grow and develop. Here are some of mine:
- I believe that every encounter teaches us some kind of lesson, good or bad.
- We all have something great to offer to the world.
- The only constant thing is change.
- Trust in the process.
- Do your best to have inner harmony and integrity.
In my twenties I lived on a Greek island for 7 years. This fueled a passion for Greek philosophy and mythology, and my love of the sea. This was also the beginning of my journey of growth and learning. The Greek word for sea ‘Thalassa’ still remains my favourite word today.
My personal interests are psychology, philosophy, and The Stoics. I’m an avid reader and I always have numerous books scattered around. I think my family have finally got used to this! I enjoy nature, naps, and travelling, but especially spending time with my family. My favourite food is Greek and Italian. My favourite colour is the ocean.
